Irrigation pump stations
Our speciality. We design, fabricate and install complete pump stations for irrigation and water management, and we source the pumps, pipe and hose to go with them.
How we build pump stationsWe're a family-owned engineering works on the Inverell Road. We design, fabricate and install irrigation pump stations and structural steel for farms, councils and builders across north-west NSW and southern Queensland, all from our own workshop.
Design, cutting, forming, welding and install all happen in-house. That keeps lead times short, costs honest and the quality in our hands from the first drawing to the final weld.

How we build pump stationsSteelwork for sheds, industrial and commercial buildings and construction projects of all sizes, cut, punched, folded and welded in our workshop.
We work in every common material. Parts and assemblies in aluminium and stainless steel, made to suit the job.
Equipment designed around the way you work, from tarp rollers and drag buckets to one-off builds nobody else will touch.
If it can't come to the workshop, we go to it. Our service vehicles are out on farms and sites right across the region.
Buy steel in small or large quantities straight from our Moree yard, from a few lengths to a full load.
Moree's local steel supplier, an importer of irrigation pumps and pipe, and the district agent for three brands farmers already trust.
LPG for home and business, industrial and welding gases, and food-grade CO2 and helium for hospitality.

twindisc.com.auA few recent jobs out of the Inverell Road workshop. Every one designed, built and finished by our own crew.
Heavy presses, CNC cutting and bending, and the lifting gear to move what we make. Big enough for pump stations and structural steel, precise enough for the small parts.
In 1994, in the middle of a hard drought, 26-year-old Moree boilermaker Donald Devney started his own welding and fabrication business on Industrial Drive.
DD's soon outgrew that shed. Today we work from more than 20 acres on the Inverell Road, with a full-time crew, a yard full of steel and low-loaders coming and going with finished jobs. Our customers are mostly irrigators and broadacre farmers, along with councils, government and local builders, and plenty of people from further afield.
“Every job is important to us, and every client is important to us.”
We often have roles for qualified tradespeople, yard staff and apprentices. Send your CV and a cover letter to admin@ddsengineering.com.au.
